WELCOME TO THE ECOLOGICAL HOTEL "RIO VERDE"

Rio Verde is an ecological hotel thought for the people who look for the contact with nature and the amazonic culture, characterized by an unusual combiantion of sceneries, landscapes and ethnic groups, and with the greatest biodiversity of the planet.

Here, nature defies the ecological adventure lovers to discover forests, marsh and savannahs crossed by large rivers, in which banks have emerged picturesque villages and indigenous cultures that haven´t changed their traditions for centuries.

In the north of Bolivia, in the Beni department, you can find the E.B.B. Ecological Station of Beni, a region with warm and tropical weather with a media of 26ºC temperature (although many days, during the summer, it comes up to 37ºC) and 1900 mm of annual media rainfall.

Here you can find rivers of extraordinary beauty, like the Maniqui, with virgin jungles which offer the possibility of observing in it´s own enviroment up to 2000 species of hanging plants. It is known that the zone is inhabited by monkeys, jaguars, anacondas, river alligators... near 100 species of mammals and more than 500 species of birds.
